Natural Wax

Body Shop Beeswax Texturising WaxYou can always rely on The Body Shop to keep things 100% natural. We all know that hair wax isn’t actually made of candle wax, but what about beeswax? Well that’s exactly what The Body Shop have produced – hairwax made from beeswax. It will keep hair exactly where you want it, and washes out easily without leaving any sticky residue.
Be warned though, it is for short hair only.

The organic beeswax helps to moisturise and condition hair and to keep in moisture. And of course the beekeepers get a fair share of the profit.

So go natural with your hairstyling products, keeping your hair free of harsh chemicals and perfumes, and making it much easier to wash out.

The Body Shop Beeswax Texturising Wax costs £5 and you can get it instore or online.

    Hi Luscious Locks,
I was looking around and found your info on this beeswax, and though I haven’t tested it myself, I beg to differ on the Body Shop keeping things 100% natural. Most companies that mass produce products cannot keep it 100% natural. In fact, the FDA allows companies to NOT include synthetic ingredients in their products if they are under a certain percentage. I’ll have to look up the exact number, but just wanted to let you in on that. Bath & Body, the Body Shop, Lush, and many others claim natural, but they really aren’t.

I have to agree on the 100% natural comment by Karen, I use to really get excited about going to the Body Shop for products and I was so disappointed by the ingredients. I’m all for supporting companies that go the full mile. I’d suggest Giovanni’s Wicked Wax before Body Shop’s, I think folks should always check the local health food store too, there are amazing products in there! :)
