Catwalk Sexed UpCatwalk products are often inspired by fashion, they have made products with ultra texture, volume, colour and many more. This shampoo has been designed to create a fuller look and thicker feel. With ingredients such as panthenol, wheat and amino acids, it will encourage your hair to be stronger and healthier looking.

It will leave your hair looking and feeling soft and thick, you can use on any hair length or texture and it will leave your hair smelling fresh and clean. Apply to wet hair and massage into a thick lather and rinse, repeat if necessary. To complete, use the sexed up thickening conditioner. Available from HQ Hair for just £7.40.

Catfight

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

Tigi CatfightI can just see the fights starting when your brother or partner sees this in your bathroom cabinet. Catfight is a strong hold texturising gum that is suitable for all hair types, so girls you’ll have to hide this one from the boys! It has better results when used on short hair as it defines and separates the hair so it will give you the look you’re after.

Instead of leaving your locks looking greasy or knotty, this will define each strand of hair. It can be used on wet or dry hair so you can go for the beach look or the just got up look. Catfight is produced by Catwalk (Tigi) and is available at HQ Hair. It costs £12.45 and it comes in a funky ball shape pot.

Textured Chignon

Thursday, August 23rd, 2007

Textured ChignonStraight off the catwalk for Matthew Williamson this style will never go out of fashion, the chignon is a great way to style the hair as it looks sophisticated without trying to hard. Models on and off the catwalk have been wearing their hair like this for years for a natural yet chic look. There are so many diffrerent types of chignons these days but they all give the same overall effect.

Bumble and Bumble have kindly given us directions on how to achieve the ‘Textured Chignon,’ which involves exaggerating the back bun whilst still having a sleek finish on top. They have also recommended some hair products to help us along the way! Unfortunatley this style will only work on long hair.

Big & Bigger

Friday, August 10th, 2007

Big & BiggerSick of having fine hair that has seen better days? This Fashionista Big & Bigger from Catwalk will bring back the volume you’ve been missing. You can use on wet hair before styling and it’ll leave you with a firm hold, or even scrunch into dry hair for that ‘just got up’ look. Humidity resistant, it’s perfect for when you’re on your holidays.

I’ve got so much hair that I’m permanently having to get it thinned out, but I know for those of you who have thin locks, you’re probably wishing it was thicker – us girls are never happy with what we’ve got!

This product can be used on all hair types and is colour safe with a blueberry muffin fragrance. It comes in a 200ml bottle, costs just £10 and is available from most hair salons or tigihaircare.com.

Catwalk Oatmeal and Honey Range

Saturday, March 31st, 2007

Catwalk Oatmeal and Honey Shampoo & ConditionerI’m not quite sure what I’d do without my Oatmeal and Honey shampoo and conditioner, I use it once a week instead of my usual products and it works wonders on my hair. Each time I use the products it feels like I have just spent the afternoon at a salon and it looks in excellent condition; so soft and shiny.

The treatments help restore chemically treated or damaged hair but I wouldn’t recommend using it more than once or twice a week depending on how many times you wash your hair. If you do, your hair is likely to get used to the treatment and not work as well.

The best thing about this range of products is the smell; all oatmeal and honey treatments smell so yummy you will want to use them every day! Both shampoo and conditioner treatments are available at www.hqhair.com.
