Snag free hair bobbles yeah right! Whenever I tie my hair up with a bobble and try to take it out a whole clump of hair comes with it. No matter how carefully I try to take them out, there will also be strands of hair hanging off the band. Now there is no need to look any further, I have recently purchased a pack of these Blax snag free pony tail elastics and they really do work.
They are commonly used by well known hair stylists and as described on HQ Hair ‘they virtually glide off your hair when removed’, and they really do. They come in packs of eight and are available in clear, black or brown. For only £2.65, there’s a bargain for you.

Got a posh do coming up or even your dream wedding day? Well this tiara is just one of many that really caught my eye; it’s beautiful. It is silver plated so will really sparkle when caught in the light and also has five pearls placed carefully at the front.
At just £14.95 it is a great bargain, some may think it’s a little cheap but I think it is ideal for those younger girls, your bridesmaids or your daughter’s prom; it really will finish off an outfit. The tiara is available at lady2be.com. They have around 5 or 6 different tiaras to view, all at reasonable prices.

Where Sienna Miller goes, we follow. So it’s time to re-introduce the scrunchie. Do you remember these? Well now they are back! This one is white with multi-coloured polka dots, but apparently the brighter the better. So get shopping girls.
This one is available in pink, purple, rouge, white and black. Effortlessly scrape back your hair when wearing one of these, they aren’t to be used for a neat and tidy look.
Available from Urban Outfitters for just £3 each.

I didn’t realise Swarovski produced hair accessories until today. I have just been over to their website and they have all kinds of different hair clips and bands, all absolutely gorgeous of course. This particular headband is in a delightful silver shade with three rows of silver shade crystal mesh on Alcantara, with Rhodium plated details.
It comes with an adjustable elastic band at the back of the hairpiece so you can have it fitted to your exact head size. Its size is 52cm and it costs a whopping £75. Then again for those of you that are diamond divas it is certainly worth it… it looks amazing. You can view all of their hair accessories on the Swarovski Website, they also sell jewellery and different collectables.

For me waxing is a no-no, so I stick to my trusty tweezers. But I just never feel as though they have been done properly. With these magnifying and illuminating tweezers, we should all be able to do as good a job as any beautician. They have a built in LED light and two magnification lenses to help spot those stragglers and also come with a carry pouch included in the price.
Available from boots or JMLdirect.com at just £7.99 these have got to be one of my new favourite products. Advertised as The Genius Tweezer! That says it all. Some A listers prefer a thick statement brow but they still need grooming. I think these are a wicked little invention, I know how frustrated I get when I’m trying to do my eyebrows in broad daylight and I still can’t see what I’m doing properly!

If like me you’re forever changing your hair style but don’t want to ruin your hair, these clip-in instant streaks can add a slice of colour to your locks without having to worry about damaging your roots. They are available in a wide range of different colours from caramel brown for a more subtle change to a wild copper red for a bolder appearance.
At only £2.50 each they are a bargain! Hair extension pieces can sometimes be rather pricey so if you’re not looking for a dramatic change these could be just right. I’m fed up with going out and my hair always looking the same, so I’m forever having a different cut or colour, but having a few of these put in could be just my answer. They are available from Additional Lengths who specialise in hair extensions, hair after care and even false eyelashes.

This summer it’s all about dressing up your locks, and what better way to do it than with a summery head scarf. This bando from Accessorize is made from silk and is beautifully decorated with a pink and blue floral pattern. The back of the scarf is joined together with an elastic ring - like a hair band and the ends of the material extend therefore can be tied in a knot or bow if you want them to.
The bando would look great with a matching print dress, bikini or plain kaftan. Imagine how useful it could be in the summer when you’re hot and sweaty on the beach – it would hold your hair back out of your face and let you sunbath in peace! The bando costs just £6 and is available on the Monsoon Accessorize website.

Prom time is approaching and I imagine there are still some of you that haven’t quite found your perfect dress or matching accessories. I personally think that a prom outfit isn’t complete without a tiara, even if you’re not the prom queen you can still feel like a princess. Simple but stunning is often the way to go with a tiara.
There are many tiaras on the market but often they are quite expensive, if you’re only going to wear it once there’s not much point spending £100’s on one accessory. I have just found a website that sells them for between £15 and £75, most of which are around the £20 - £25 mark. These two are my favourites, the top left tiara is £20 and the other £30. Both can be bought at Bexicles.

Are you off to the Royal Ascot Races this week? If so, you definitely need to stand out from the crowd with some hair accessories. If like me you never wear hats or headbands then take advantage of the week and really liven up your locks. I have found some great ideas on the Next website; hats and fluff seem to be the in accessories for a day at the races.
The hat on the left is a black and white bow hat, it costs £25 and will go with most colours. The next item is a black and white net fascinator and will cost you £15, I love this accessory, it adds that little bit extra without being too overwhelming. That last hat is stunning; you will need to wear this with either pink or black so there aren’t too many overpowering colours. It costs £35 and is both a hat and fluff together.
