If you look after your shampoo bar properly by keeping it dry (Lush also make a handy shampoo bar tin), then it should last for about 70 washes. They range in price from £3.50 to £5.25, which is pretty good value considering how long they last, and as with all Lush products only natural ingredients are used and they’re not tested on animals.

The lack of any chemicals means that you can use it as often as you like and not worry about damaging your hair or stripping it of it’s natural oils. It’s mild formula contains fruit oils which are all naturally source so there’s nothing nasty in it. The conditioner is great for repairing split ends and will also nourish the scalp. They cost £9.50 each.

They’ve kept it simple and have four different kinds of shampoo that target different hair troubles. Packaged as a sleek aerosol can, it’ll slip in your handbag and all you need to do is give your fringe a quick spray to refresh it. The spray removes any excess oil that gives your fringe a limp, greasy look and gives it some extra volume.

At £5.49 it’s not the cheapest product available, but as I’ve discovered, the cheaper ones simply don’t do the job, and for the best results you have to go with the experts. Available from Boots online or instore.

There’s also a conditioner, which does contain organic olive oil which gets right inside the hair to condition and nourish, as well as protect.

If you fancy trying it, the shampoo and conditioner are available in a small 60ml size which contains enough for 3 or 4 washes, and perfect for taking on holiday.

The shampoo really cleanses your hair and scalp and you’ll feel totally revitalised. This product caught my eye so I thought I should share it with any of you who are looking for the same thing. FAST is a product to increase hair growth on existing hair, it isn’t a hair loss product. It claims that if you use the product every day, and your hair normally grows 1 inch per month, using this it will grow 1½ inches per month. Over 6 months that’s an extra 3 inches of luscious long hair!! They say that it works on all hair types, on both men and women and can be used with any other hair products.
